FROM RECORDING TO EDITING

Keep the whole session
in one place.

Choose the apps and inputs you want to capture. Each gets its own channel, with live levels, volume, and mute controls.

When you’re done, the recording is already in your library. Open the editor, bring in another track, or search the transcript for the part you want.

QUESTIONS

A few practical details.

Where can I download TonePebble?

TonePebble is coming to the Mac App Store. We’ll add the download link here when it is available.

How do I make my first recording?

Choose your audio sources, check permissions, and run an eight-second setup test. Then press Start Recording. Our getting-started guide walks you through it.

What does TonePebble run on?

TonePebble is a native Mac app for macOS 15 or later. On-device transcription requires macOS 26 or later and a supported speech model and language.

Do I need to install an audio driver?

No. System audio, app audio, and microphone recording use macOS capture capabilities. You’ll grant the relevant audio recording and microphone permissions in System Settings.

Can I record one app without the rest of my Mac?

Yes. Turn off System Audio and add the app you want to record. App selection works at the application level, rather than individual browser tabs. Protected content may be unavailable for capture.

Does my audio go to the cloud?

TonePebble stores your recordings locally. Optional transcription and audio cleanup run on your Mac. Files only go to another app or destination when you choose to export or share them.
